When does Truffle Town premiere?

Freshly unearthed black truffle on dark slate celebrating the truffle town premiere.

Truffle Town premieres Friday, October 16, 2026, exclusively on the 210 Digital streaming channel for Apple TV, iPhone, and iPad. Until then the film is available to preorder, and its official 4K trailer is free to watch — in the free 210 Digital app and on the film’s official page. This guide collects everything published about the release so far in one place.

What is Truffle Town about?

In an unnamed Spanish town, far from the mythology of France and Italy, more than 70% of the world’s truffles begin — the film’s tagline calls it the truffle capital of the world. The documentary follows one family and the dogs trained to find what no human eye can see: a story of land, legacy, obsession, and the invisible forces that connect us to what lies buried below. Runtime is 1h 30m, in native 4K, directed by Gonzalo de la Torre and Pedro Velasco, and executive produced by Gonzalo de la Torre.

How much does Truffle Town cost?

Three ways to watch, all inside the 210 Digital app:

Preorder — $14.99 (until October 16)

Own the film in 4K forever, plus the preorder bonus bundle. That is 40% under the $24.99 list price. You are charged today and the film unlocks automatically at the premiere — nothing else to do.

Buy at premiere — $24.99

From October 16, 2026: buy once, watch forever. No subscription is ever required to own a film on the channel.

48-hour rental — $9.99

Opens at the premiere. The 48-hour clock starts when you press play, so you can rent now and start whenever you’re ready.

Where can I watch it?

On the 210 Digital app for Apple TV — the app is free on the App Store, and now on iPhone and iPad as well. There is no account to create and no subscription; purchases run through Apple and restore on any of your devices. (The channel’s privacy policy is refreshingly blunt: the app collects nothing.)

What languages are the subtitles in?

Six: English, Spanish, French, German, Japanese and Simplified Chinese, selectable before or during playback — on the trailer today and on the film at premiere.

What unlocks alongside the film?

Six behind-the-scenes featurettes arrive with the premiere: The Truffle Dogs, The Hunt, Unearthed, Black Gold, The Farmers, and The Table.
